Pros

I joined the copy team three years ago when there were around 12 writers. Today, it’s double that. Such fast growth means the progression opportunities are definitely there if you’re willing to work hard. I’ve never worked for a company where a manager is so well-liked by a team, and that’s because he’s just as involved as we are. You’ll never have to think twice about asking him anything. In terms of workload, we write for a global market across almost every sector, so there’s always something new. With well-structured training sessions for new starters, everybody is given the support to make the best first impression. And one of my favourite things is that individual achievements are shared with the whole team, and everyone is genuinely happy for one another’s successes. We also have something called PH Perks, which means we get the morning off the day after our birthday, free gym membership after two years, free fruit, tea and coffee and there’s an in-office bar. We’re also treated to two annual company events – the Christmas party and Summer Soiree – both of which are an absolute highlight and always incredible! Overall, I’d say it’s the perfect place for an ambitious copywriter to nurture their skills and be part of a very talented team.

Cons

A hardworking ethos and values like ‘irrational commitment’ are not for everyone, but putting in the extra effort never goes unnoticed.

Pros

My experience at PHMG has been such a fun and rewarding opportunity, especially for someone with little to no experience in sales. It’s a great place to learn, grow, and build confidence while being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The culture is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is very welcoming and approachable, always willing to answer questions or offer advice. Since it’s a great starting point for someone new to sales, you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. The team is supportive, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the people around you. I’ve also really enjoyed the networking opportunities and getting to connect with so many different people across the company. PHMG does a great job creating a fun environment where people work hard but also enjoy what they do. Overall, it’s been an amazing place to start a sales career and build a strong foundation. The skills, relationships, and experience you gain here can set you up for success in future sales roles as well.

Cons

none! I loved my time here.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
