Pros

Company I've worked at PHMG for close to 3 years, and throughout this time there have been endless opportunities. This has included trips overseas to Singapore and the new offices in Chicago. There are also endless possibilities if you want to move into alternative departments to expand your knowledge of the business. Whilst my time is predominantly spent meeting with clients, the support from our head office in Manchester is unrivalled. All objectives that are set out are achievable if you are prepared to work hard for them. Social There has always been a great social scene at PHMG. Our quarterly in house magazine even provides us with recommendations for new restaurants and bars in both Manchester and London. We also have 2 parties throughout the year, 1 for summer and then for Christmas, which are always at incredible venues with celebrity speakers. I am also part of the football team which to date have won the league twice over the last 2 years. Opportunities There are endless opportunities within the business, especially if you want to work within another department to improve or even gain a new skill. I actually joined PHMG as a BDM, working within the sales team. An opportunity then became available in the Client Support team which not only gave me the chance to work more closely with our clients, but also travel further afield to America and Asia.

Cons

There are occasions where days can be long due to where we may need to travel to meet a client which is part of my job. However you are always rewarded for going above an beyond what is expected of you.

Pros

My experience at PHMG has been such a fun and rewarding opportunity, especially for someone with little to no experience in sales. It’s a great place to learn, grow, and build confidence while being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The culture is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is very welcoming and approachable, always willing to answer questions or offer advice. Since it’s a great starting point for someone new to sales, you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. The team is supportive, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the people around you. I’ve also really enjoyed the networking opportunities and getting to connect with so many different people across the company. PHMG does a great job creating a fun environment where people work hard but also enjoy what they do. Overall, it’s been an amazing place to start a sales career and build a strong foundation. The skills, relationships, and experience you gain here can set you up for success in future sales roles as well.

Cons

none! I loved my time here.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
