Pros
-Smart people -Great learning environment -Overall culture is very collaborative and people want to help you succeed -Pay is fine -Great place to be post-mba
Cons
-If you are coming here out of undergrad for a product role be wary. You are not in a risk-taking or investment role. The exit opportunities are limited and business school will be necessary to pivot. (Ignore if in RE or private credit teams) -Post MBA's and seniors are treated like gods and pay is reflective of that, very topside heavy. -Little to no internal transferring, once you're on a team you're stuck with them unless you try to recruit. They will parade around a PM who "transferred" but in reality, it took him over a decade and an MBA to get put into a portfolio associate role.
