PLI used to be one of the best places to work in Asheville. I was proud of my work here and proud of my company. We all thought of ourselves as important members of a well-oiled machine. The care we had as employees was reflected in our commitment to finding solutions for our customers' needs and delivering on time, every time. As a result to this approach, our profits zoomed upwards year over year.
Cons
This leads me to ask, what happened to us here at PLI? - Sales are off and the finger gets point at us. - Morale is at its lowest point ever. - People no longer trust one another. - Due to the fear of hostile retaliation, employees are more prone to suppress their frustrations than vocalize them. As a result, we don't know to whom we should take our valid concerns regarding the health and strength of our organization. We know to not dare approach HR about worrisome internal issues, so PLI's dirty laundry gets posted on public sites. - Management's always tilling away at imagined windmills and trying for the quick fix. We seem to be missing something vital and crucial that we once had, but are now lacking. Whatever it is, we need it back.
