Pros

Management is supportive, trade is quick and relatively simple to pick up, relaxed but professional work environment, fast paced problem solving and multi tasking, co workers are often team oriented and forgiving of minor mistakes, easy to excel if you dedicate your time. Benefits are strong, good 401; fast growing and positive company

Cons

High turnover rate can demoralize and intimidate. Nature of job leads to avg 100+ mixed in and out calls per day starting, and if unorganized or those not with thick skin, easy to feel bullied by carriers

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
