Pros

- Good pay - Decent environment where coworkers keep it comfortable and are like-minded

Cons

Where to start.. - Extremely high turnover, you will see people leave every week and replaced within two - Because of this management does not care enough to help you achieve lasting success as much as they seem like they do - Hours are brutal 7:30-5 every day and if you do not live in Philly that's at the least a half hour of commuting, long day to say the least - 200 cold calls a day which is a ridiculous number and cannot hit if you have any relative prospects to focus on and will burn you out - There are two main positions which is account executive and logistics coordinator which are supposed to help set your shipments up with the trucking companies. However, it is completely unorganized and inefficient that you will find yourself doing it most of the time. If you end up waiting for an open LC it will end up probably costing you that load and customer and that will be your fault for some reason - Borderline scam

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
