Pros

Young people because it's better for them morally to fire you before you start a family. Older ones there will take your accounts. Good leadership in terms of team management at least Espo in Pitt.

Cons

I was terminated for being 50 dollars under my margin goals for the month.. on the seventh of the month. They will hire you ask you to get as many accounts as you can then two to six months later they will fire you or force you to quit and replace you. These accounts will go to the people they like. They promise you can do great if you work hard but success is chosen. The question you need to ask during the hiring process is what percentage of new hires between 2023-2025 have earned more that 1000 dollars in commission. During my time there 70+ came and went and I very highly doubt any more than three of them saw those one thousand dollars. They know exactly what they're doing, however when you sit next to someone and you're told to listen to them because they do a great job then see that person fired the next week, it lowers moral and therefor team performance.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
