Pros

A lot of people who work there are nice Bosses were as supportive as they could be Happy hours for the team Hour lunches that you can take any time Relaxing work environment Unlimited PTO You do get some experience/skills from the job

Cons

The turnover rate. It's 90% at the least. Most people get fired after 2-6 months. Not a good company to start with if you're straight out of college and want a lasting position. 200 cold calls a day (25/hour) You get recycled leads that were contacted within the same month, that have already said no multiple times to multiple different AETs. Sometimes leads are people's personal cell phones and home phones. Management even encourages you to try personal numbers. You only get one week of training. You learn basic terminology and go over a script. No work/life balance. You work 7:45 AM - 5 PM (M-F, and the occasional Saturday every month), but also have to be vigilant about phone calls and emails from prospects and customers outside of working hours. You sign a non-compete in your offer letter.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
