Pros
- Except for crunch times, pretty flexible work days and standard hours - People are generally friendly and nice - Dogs - Decent pay
Cons
- Crunch times are really bad for development teams; mostly due to poor estimation practices (more below) - Teams provide estimates but often gets overridden by senior management - Said senior management are not held accountable on estimates which teams are forced to accept - Unclear processes, direction, who's doing what - Lots of finger pointing and back stabbing - Certain people are allowed to splurge on big purchases and travel (even during crunch times and poor financial results) - Office is in a bad neighborhood and interiors are deteriorating - High churn with key developers - Chaos is affecting client relationships
