Pros
Some people don't like the open concept, but I love that you can just roll over to your co-workers and ask questions. No one has an "office", but there are conference rooms for private conversations. I like that there are quarterly update meetings with the Sioux Falls headquarters so happenings in the company are transparent and everyone is informed of new rolls outs, changes, etc. I have an amazing boss who gives freedom to own my work and doesn't micromanage every aspect. We eat a lot of food at this company, but most of it is healthy or at least there are healthy options. We have plenty of dessert too! The benefits are great with lots of PTO, decent healthcare, profit sharing, and gym reimbursement. Dress is business casual with jeans, a button up shirt, and nice shoes, so no stuffy suits and ties, there is also a ton of POET gear you can purchase and wear a polo shirt daily if you want! I've been here over a year and feel that if the honeymoon period was going to wear off it would have happened by now. I'm so glad I applied last year!
Cons
Some people don't like the open concept where there are no cubicle walls or private offices. The environment can get a bit loud at times, but for the most part it's manageable. Managers attend a lot of meetings, so they aren't readily available at all times. I haven't found any aspects of the company that would be a deal breaker for staying here, just minor inconveniences.
