Pros
Relaxed culture where having a beer at lunch and wearing shorts are not frowned upon. Senior management is more visible and approachable as compared to senior management at similar sized companies. Company is doing great financially and growing rapidly. IT network and applications are far superior to other companies of this size and even larger. Meridian office is modern looking and comfortable. Benefits, 401k, and bonus programs are well run.
Cons
Project Managers get too much credit and compensation. Meanwhile the engineers, drafters, and even department managers are under-compensated. This results in high turnover in those areas. Company ownership is based on the good old boy network and who you know. Ownership has little to do with actual accomplishments or work performance.
