Pros

Some genuinely talented people try to make the best of a bad situation. That's about it.

Cons

The problems at Pride Global are not isolated or circumstantial — they are systemic and deeply rooted in the leadership, starting squarely with CEO Leo Russell. Russell fosters a culture of ego over insight, where blind loyalty is valued more than competence, and critical thinking is quietly punished. He surrounds himself with yes-men and drowns out dissenting voices, no matter how valid or well-intentioned. His leadership style is erratic and authoritarian, often based on gut feelings and personal grudges rather than data, logic, or long-term strategy. Smart, capable people either burn out trying to fix what’s broken or get pushed out when they ask hard questions. The culture he’s created is one of fear, not inspiration. There’s a pervasive sense of mistrust and a lack of transparency. Decisions are handed down from above with no explanation, no room for input, and no accountability when they backfire — which they often do. Morale is chronically low, and turnover is high for a reason. If you value a healthy work environment, thoughtful leadership, or even just being treated like a professional — look elsewhere. Pride Global isn’t a company where careers grow. It’s where they go to stall or die.
