      Pros

      sometimes a lot of time off and you still get payed like when you have a hurricane or the river is closed for fog

      Cons

      work night and day weather does not matter sometimes you won't go home for 3 or 4 days vessels like to be in port on holidays this means you will work most holidays

      SGS Petroleum Service Corporation does not employ petrochemical surveyors/inspectors, and we currently do not have any positions in North Carolina. These comments appear to be specific to another division of SGS.

      Pros

      Flexible vacation use, and decent pay for the amount of work you do at the site.

      Cons

      Low amount of vacation time until you reach 15years of company service. 401k only matches up to 4% with a 5years vestment time to get 100%.
