Pros

Exceptional Teamwork: The collaborative atmosphere made every project enjoyable and successful. Inspiring Leadership: My boss was approachable, supportive, and set a great example for the whole team. Progressive Culture: The company was ahead of the game, constantly innovating and pushing the envelope. Family-like Atmosphere: I felt like I was a part of a community rather than just another employee. Personal and Professional Growth: The work environment challenged me and contributed to both my personal and professional development.

Cons

Job Security: Despite an overall positive experience, I was unexpectedly laid off. Limited Tenure: Wish I had the opportunity to contribute and grow with the company for many more years.

Pros

Palmetto is a fast moving company that is so focused on its mission - you know you are in a place that is doing good. The team is top notch - smart, caring people. Truly not a jerk in the mix. Our work matters. In a very convoluted market, I am very confident in Palmetto's longevity.

Cons

I just wish I was able to see my coworkers more often! Remote is great, but sometimes you miss the camaraderie.

Pros

Flexibility, Unlimited PTO, Snacks when you are on site, Almost all of the staff in the Charleston office are truly nice guys, Best thing of all - people occasionally bring their dogs :).

Cons

Very unstable - seriously, In addition to former employees like myself - about half of the current staff/management are on their second round with the company. So, don't take a job with them if you want stability. Mostly very young management with an 'Everyone deserves a trophy mentality,' Pointless company-wide weekly meetings that are basically a competition for 'Who can use the most obnoxious business jargon in one statement?' Lastly, policies, guidelines, rules and management decisions change not only daily, but sometimes hourly. I'm all for necessary change, but this just makes the staff feel uneasy and makes management look weak and unorganized.
