Pros
Great people doing the day to day work. Remote first company. Some great ambitions when they're consistent.
Cons
Over promised and under delivered. Bait and switch on work/life balance claims. Offered unlimited PTO but overloaded people so they never took it. Constant pivots without notice and little justification (if it was justified or communicated at all). What's in the press and public domain is the exact opposite of what's happening in the actual company - so much said about the massive infusion of cash and high profile investors, yet raises don't happen, bonuses are below market rate, and layoffs happen frequently with little notice because there's "not enough money" and "targets are missed". Impossible to feel secure and motivated when it's possible that you'll be laid off at random. No upward mobility for current employees, new people are hired instead of current people promoted. Lower level employees are impacted and let go because of decisions made by upper level managers who never have to feel the consequences. So much possibility and promise but the leadership holds it back.
