Pros

Immediate coworkers in engineering department friendly and helpful. In-Flight Technology is an interesting product so day goes by faster. There is room to learn and grow with personal initiative. Good opportunity for entry level to get their foot in the door. There are opportunities to move between departments if you prove your worth. Benefits are nice overall.

Cons

Lower pay than industry standard. Often asked to do work that is "grey area" - not your responsibility but you wind up doing it. Some direct managers will recognize/reward you for your efforts, but it very easily goes unnoticed. Upper management changes direction a lot, leading to unfulfilled promises. Some people end up stagnant career wise especially in current environment. Projects/department workloads tend to either have very little work or way too much on the plate. Low morale.

Pros

Good benefits, Health and Dental, Vision, up to 4% 401k match

Cons

New management has no idea how business supposed to be managed. They are pulling management folks from Intel and Amazon. Taking new development to Oregon where their homes are. Also, sent most of the work to India to show the profitability. The company doesn't have traditional Japanese culture any more under current management as everyone is trying to fill their pockets and looking for their benefits.
