Pros
Medical benefits, the only reason I'm still here. Maintaining the illusion that what you do might really be helping people. Some coworkers are very helpful and kind. Supervisor cares and is very helpful as well. Expanding work from home programs. Random social activity events, if you're into that sort of thing.
Cons
Proverbial overworked and underpaid environment. No communication. Gossip mill with plainly audible conversations, inconsiderate, and sometimes just plain rude and intrusive coworker interactions. Glaring inconsistencies in standards of practice, training with no clear instructions, and condescending trainer feedback. Everyone runs on anxiety and insecurity. Productivity is exploited and pay ridiculously low, not equivalent to responsibility and duties. No reward for high work output.
