Pros

Work from home options, flexible hours

Cons

Focus was on billing so it felt like you were nickel and diming customers. Workload was alright but generally was too light and varied greatly. Not a lot of room for growth, especially once you reach the max tier for your position. Benefits package was sub par. There were not enough paid time off days, no sick pay, no tuition reimbursement, and they only match 50% for 401K. Medical and dental package was decent. Overall not very competitive compared to the Madison area. Training is non-existent at this organization, and depending on the team you are on, you do not receive a lot of support during the learning process.

Thank you for your feedback. Allowing flexible work schedules is something that we think is important for our employees work life balance. As an industry standard in software development and services, billing of time & materials is a commonly used practice, and we do our best to ensure we bill our customers fairly for the time we spend servicing them. Our number one focus at Paradigm is on our customer’s success. Thank you for your feedback on our benefits package; this is something we are constantly evaluating to determine what the best package is for our employees. Our time off is in an overall bucket, which includes vacation and sick time, so that you can use it in a way that fits your situation best. In December we began a new comprehensive on-boarding training program that we have heard very positive feedback about. We will continue to enhance this to provide support & growth for our employees.

Pros

A Really great, relaxed culture. Understands value of remote work. Work life balance is a core value as far as I can tell. Paradigm has one thing that very few companies have which is they do genuinely reward and recognize people who put effort forward and care with further opportunities and compensation.

Cons

The pay is middling for this type of job but the low level of stress + culture of rewarding effort can mitigate that. Raises are not amazing but if you shine you can get promoted to a better role and pay bracket.

Pros

Company culture as a whole. Many of the long time employees are recognized and valued greatly by management and HR.

Cons

A lot of changes quickly that will most likely come back and bite them. New leadership is so AI and technology focused that they are skipping crucial steps. Tons of restructuring and getting rid of quality people because they staffed them in roles that they seem "redundant" now.
