Pros
The company culture is relaxed for sure. You can wear tee shirts and shorts with no problem and someone is always willing to grab a quick drink. Flexibility in hours and overtime (straight pay not 1.5x) Not a lot of stress in the job. Close to the beach.
Cons
Projects are not given to people based off what an individuals are interested in or qualified for; its whoever is not busy. Staying busy is also hard to do as most people are currently bored and twiddling their thumbs. Zero management structure aka you will not know which owner (there are 6 of them) is the one you work for. you will not know who to call when you are out sick. Odds are you would not have spoken to the owner, ever, that is giving you the yearly review / raise (which has been anywhere between a few weeks late to 9 months late). In general, the people who sign your paycheck have no clue what you do for them. Zero mentorship at the company.
