Pros

Remote work is a benefit

Cons

I'm so disappointed to leave this review. I've been with the company for several years now and actively looking for other work. This company has strayed so far from its mission and vision- to the detriment of patient care and employee wellbeing. Parsley used to be a place that would be a dream job. There used to be high morale. At one time I thought I was so lucky and had so much pride in working for Parsley health. All of that is gone. The company will fire employees without warning in a disgusting fashion, including firing a pregnant clinical employee just before giving birth. Heartless, especially from a company with a female + mother CEO. I've also witnessed discrimination related to maternity leave within the company toward several other employees. Managers are not interested in helping their direct reports grow, and at times they even get in the way of career advancement. Employees that highlight issues are gaslit and usually let go- creating a scared culture of 'yes men'. Parsley used to have a culture of candor, where we could have hard conversations and come out on the other side stronger. Not anymore. Now, if you're not oozing toxic positivity, you're on the chopping block. It's a disaster and I would warn anyone seeking employment to consider anywhere else- for the good of your mental health and your career.

Pros

While salary is low for the industry, that’s only by a little.

Cons

This place is chaotic at best, and frequently toxic. Robin Berzin cares deeply about her product to the point where she will emotionally abuse those who work directly with her on a cares deeply about her product to the point where she will emotionally abuse those who work directly with her on a regular basis, which could even include individual contributors if she wants to insert herself. Deadlines and priorities are chosen based on her anxiety and desire to make something go live rather than what makes sense. There is constant, relentless chaos and overwork, very little work life balance and no sense of safety about your job. *Important - This is also an unsafe environment for queer people. Time and time again, unsafe to speak up.
