Pros
Make good friends with the Canada Girls.
Cons
During my time with the company, the clients themselves were generally easy to work with and as expected. The primary challenges came from the internal work environment. Several coworkers engaged in unprofessional behavior, such as making derogatory remarks about colleagues and clients, spreading misinformation to damage reputations, and encouraging others to monitor or report on coworkers. Additionally, there were repeated incidents of inappropriate and discriminatory comments directed at members of the content team, specifically targeting Pakistani and Indian staff regarding their language abilities. This behavior created a culture of hostility, lack of trust, and instability, as job security appeared to be at the discretion of ownership rather than based on performance. While direct managers (such as Jen and Sarah) were supportive and consistently reassured me that my work was aligned with expectations and training, I often experienced contradictory treatment from the owner, including public criticism during meetings. These situations contributed significantly to stress in the workplace and impacted overall morale.
