Pros

-HR Director was a gem, but I believe she left.

Cons

20 of the 25 (roughly) from the sales class I started with left within 6 months. Majority of them highly capable. I’ll leave it at that.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and props to our People Operations/Talent Acquisition members. We are sorry that your experience didn't turn out as you hoped, but it is good to hear that you learned a lot while you were part of our family. We acknowledge that Pax8 is not the right fit for everyone, as each individual has their own personal needs and priorities for their ideal work environment. With that being said, we are proud of the fact that our employee referral rate far exceeds our employee attrition rate (our data does not reflect any class size as big as 25 or losing 80% from a single class), and we promote employees at a high rate as we are constantly creating new roles and providing paths for our employees to continue to grow. Additionally, we welcome feedback from our employees at any point in their journey with us so that we can continue to create new programs that support them in meaningful ways. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Strong individual contributors who are partner-centric. New office is nice for hybrid work.

Cons

What was once a strong culture has eroded significantly due to poor leadership, misaligned talent in key roles, and a chronic lack of strategic direction and communication. Tenure or relationships are rewarded over competence, and those at the top protect each other — even when decisions have negatively impacted the business and/or partners. People are treated as revenue-generating assets, not human beings. Leadership is so deeply disconnected from the real problems that have persisted for years.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that our people, partner focus, and hybrid workspace stood out positively for you—these remain core to who we are. We also recognise that maintaining a strong culture as we grow takes ongoing focus. We continue to invest in strengthening leadership capability, improving how we communicate and align on strategy, and creating more consistent ways for feedback to be heard and acted on across the business. We know there’s always more to do in these areas, and insights like this play an important role in helping us improve and we hope you took time to share this feedback internally via leadership or our anonymous channels whilst you worked with us. We appreciate you sharing your experience and wish you all the best for the future.
