Pros

Great product and name recognition. We win a lot of business on reputation of good customer service. Training and Trainers are great, although not much training after the first 6 months. If your hard worker you can do this job and get trips ( I got to go to Hawaii). If you don't have great work ethic don't even bother applying.

Cons

You have to kiss some serious a** if you want to get promoted. In the interview Paychex talks of career advancement and the ability to work in other divisions, however that is not even close to being accurate. Managers are number takers with no motivation ability. Company culture is to have a bunch if yes people in management rather than have people with new ideas. Pay is below average unless your gifted with a good territory. Territories are based on who they want to help succeed and not given to those who have already proven themself. Company defintalely caters to women. If you are a good looking female you couldn't work for a better company. For some reason management is scared to death to upset the women.

Pros

People and the overall environment is a positive one. If you do your part, definite long term career potential. It’s not easy- but stable, growing. Worth serious consideration for early career looking for sales experience with a great training program. Also good for mid-career consideration if base salary isn’t the primary reason you are in sales.

Cons

Very fast pace that doesn’t suit everyone. If you are looking for easy or just a job to “hang out”, this probably isn’t the right spot for you.

Pros

Remote work is a plus. Collaboration from peers is more plus than minus. Documentation of business technology was great for the most part.

Cons

Worse holiday observance company I ever worked for. Pay is low for what is asked. Work/life balance was good until 2025. Mid-level leadership and above is not ideal. I had little guidance when I started so, especially from manager so had to figure things out with help of peers.
