Being able make someones day a little better just from doing your job Training is very extensive (if you have a manager that cares and knows what he is doing) Helps you grow as a person Gaining more knowledge in the sales/marketing field Learn leadership Having fun with customers or coworkers while doing what needs to be done Business hours, some are 10-9, others are 10-8 and Sundays are 11a-6p
Cons
Depends on which location. The store i worked at was one of the top grossing stores in the district so it could get pretty busy and a lot of the times you are scheduled to be the only one working during the busiest times of the day and you would have to make sure that every customer is satisfied while doing the work that needs to be done like tagging, paperwork, reports, etc. and ring every customer up at the same time. All of the paperwork you are required to complete through-out everyday Keeping track of every single customer that you have provided at least 4 "critical actions" while jumping from customer to customer and keeping up with reports Being SMILES leader gets old(the person in charge of store and taking care of customers) Store associates get taken advantage of and used You dont make anything!! Got a 21 cent raise after working there for a year and doing everything that the assistant manager did Not worth it
