Pros
The company culture and growth and direction overall was amazing when I was first brought into Paylocity. To this day- even with the cons I hate to think to leave such a wonderful company. Benefits are good, PTO is decent, but the people are great.
Cons
This is where things get gritty. •Compensation does not keep up with workload, expectations, or cost of living. Many employees are struggling financially. There is little to no opportunity for career growth or advancement. Internal mobility is extremely limited.Leadership support for employee development is selective and largely based on visibility or personal relationships rather than performance. Morale is low and the overall culture has deteriorated. Employees feel undervalued and unsupported.Recent leadership changes have created a negative tone, poor communication, and uncertainty about the company’s direction. Even when you do get the opportunity to interview recruiters are slow, forget about candidates and leadership doesn’t follow up as promised.
