Pros

I have been in the industry for over six years, and have worked for two other payroll providers. I can tell you no other company out there compares to Paylocity. The company culture is unparalleled. In sales, it's easy for one to feel like you're on your own, but that's definitely not the case at Paylocity. I feel supported at every level. From sales management and leadership, to operations, and admins, everyone has my back and is willing to work to make our clients happy. There are so many perk to this company. We have great benefits. Our President's Club trips are unlike any other in the industry. Our annual Sales Kickoff meeting in Chicago is a blast. I could go on and on. But most important in a sales role: you have uncapped commissions and the ability to make an unbelievable amount of money.

Cons

If you come from the payroll industry, you will have to go through an adjustment period because our sales method is completely different than what you've seen (in a GREAT way!) Also, they have hired some (one, maybe two?) sales managers from outside the company, which seems odd, since I'm a strong believer that sales managers should be promoted from within the organization.

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

Teammate relationships during difficult days.

Cons

Paying out executive bonuses and Sr leaders while mid-level and lower employees had their bonus removed and their stock options taken away. This company is the epitome of making the rich richer while allowing the employees who are busting their bottoms to drown without monetary compensation. It was heartbreaking for me to see my team unable to receive any bonus monies while our executives received millions even though the decision they made resulted in the stock price dropping by over $100.
