Pros

Love the culture, yes it is true. The culture here is awesome! The work life balance is unmatched to anywhere I have worked at previously.. *hmmm ADP*.. The changes to improve the employee and client experience at Paylocity are out of this world. In my 2.5 years alone it has been a 180 degree turn and all for the better. Our management team takes our advice and feedback very seriously. They not only depend on IT/software gurus and project managers for enhancements, they look at us workers doing the day to day work on how to make it better and boy do changes/updates come quick! Being a remote employee it is great to have bi-annual department conferences where we have a chance to meet with our teams and colleagues face to face to discuss improvements, what's in the pipeline, and we get to sit in on round tables with our directors and even our CEO. Yes, he really cares enough to sit in and listen to his employees. Career advancement opportunities. If you come in, work hard, set goals you will be looked at and you will have the opportunity to move on up. The company growth has enabled various positions to open up, thus allowing opportunity for career growth.

Cons

Insurance benefit carriers could be improved, but the company has kept rates at no increase the last 3 years. I mean, who does that? (Yes as you can see this con is really not a huge thing)

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

The pay is decent compared to the market and the tech is solid.

Cons

The company is abandoning their strategy of "partner first" and is doing their best to become a worse version of Paychex/ADP... Every decision that comes from the top seems so disconnected with reality. Turnover is a huge problem. In just 12 months I've had turnover in my director, channel partner managers, channel support, partner services, RVP, SDR, and more. It's impossible to get anything done when every position around you is a revolving door. Everyone I speak with across lines of business has a similar story. It is a mess across the entire org.
