      Great product, good service oversold atmosphere - Account Executive Paylocity Employee Review

      Pros

      Paylocity really has a great product, it impresses and delivers on what is promised. The corporate office is really nice and looks to provide a unique culture.

      Cons

      Need Salesforce!! We sell that manual processes don’t make sense, yet we won’t take our advice and invest in better technology. Sales processes are tracked on spreadsheets. The fact that a public company is using a free crm speaks a lot into the pushed culture. Salespeople are encouraged to do what they are told and don’t stray from the paylocity method. I’m so discouraged that this company has the culture of Paychex. Head down and do what you are told. 8 hours of Telemarketing is forced and recorded for new reps with no exceptions. I don’t think this company is the one the founder had in mind

      Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

      Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

      Teammate relationships during difficult days.

      Cons

      Paying out executive bonuses and Sr leaders while mid-level and lower employees had their bonus removed and their stock options taken away. This company is the epitome of making the rich richer while allowing the employees who are busting their bottoms to drown without monetary compensation. It was heartbreaking for me to see my team unable to receive any bonus monies while our executives received millions even though the decision they made resulted in the stock price dropping by over $100.
