Pros

I started my 100% remote job with Paylocity the Monday before schools closed in my area because of COVID-19. I cannot believe how lucky I am. When I was interviewing here every person mentioned that Paylocity makes you feel like family and they aren't kidding. There is how they are supporting us though these uncertain times. 1) Extra sick days that can be taking to support yourself or your family and they can be used for mental health too not just illness. 2) Weekly executive chats to make sure we informed about how the situation is effecting the company and all of our employees. 3) The company made donations to non-profits that serve each of the cities our offices are in and national organizations for the remote employees. But this is not just because of the virus they give quarterly grants to help causes employees nominate. They have also been celebrating the things we are doing with a #dogoodfeelgood campaign. 4) They have told us that they will not require people to return to the office as long as the schools/childcare remains closed. 5) They have rolled out extra benefits to help with mental health and resiliency, including a zoom yoga 2 days a week and ‎meQuilibrium. 6) We have been encouraged to bring our kids (and fur babies) to meetings. In fact my 18 year old special needs daughter asks a "Non-work related question" during our every morning stand up and it has helped us get to know each other better. Last week, I was in a meeting where a father was holding a sleeping toddler and presenting. When I first investigated Paylocity I was drawn to their values but I was worried that like so many companies I have worked for they didn't actually walk the walk. But they really do.

Cons

I do not see any right now

Oh my gosh, yes! Paylocity is truly a family culture that “walks the walk” every day with our values. We truly live and breathe them each day. Our leadership has been amazing with how they are guiding us through this time of COVID. They understand that we need extra sick days and might have interruptions such a fur baby or another family member during a call. I too feel blessed to know that they truly care about me. I am so glad that you made the decision to join our team and wish for you only the best here at Paylocity.

Pros

Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

Cons

Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
