Pros

Class A Corporate America company! +Great Swag - free stuff all the time, they must really care! (Hint: it's just free marketing for the company, and you get taxed on it) +Restricted Stock for over 50% of the company (Hint: it's to cover up the fact that they aren't paying fair market value base pay) +Very inclusivity forward (almost to the point of bullyish) +Many, many departments, which means there's potential to go nearly anywhere your career might want to grow (after 12 successful months in your current position)

Cons

Simply put, the company and the culture is not what it used to be. That can't be a shock. No start up turned corporate giant ever will be. What's sad is the company now values money and profit over their employees. If you've followed any companies who have chased greed, the writing is on the wall for Paylocity. Don't take my word for it. Do your due diligence; read reviews and pay attention to the tenure. "No cons so far" are people with less than a year under their belt. Still in their honeymoon phase and have barely been out of training to be in their respective roles long enough to know the day-to-day life. All of the tenure at the company is leaving like a mass exodus because employees are no longer treated with respect or appreciated.

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pros

Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

Cons

Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
