Pros
Working in Peak Support is a pleasant (being an understatement) experience. Back when i applied in August 2021, i was only meaning to find a job where I could get paid and be at home while the pandemic is happening. Little that I know, that i was in a for a treat! A blessing that i believed to be more than what I deserve. When i underwent the interview process, I did expected it to be challenging. Challenging because you have to impress the people you would be talking to. You are selling yourself so you have to be mentally prepared and be 101% focus. The hiring process was pleasantly smooth! I got the job and I was happy i got the Team Lead post. I was already impressed. When I finally started on my post, I saw the big challenge in front of us. We are starting a Project and I was one of the pioneering batch. I would admit that it was scary at first, the responsibility is definitely huge! However, because we had very supportive managers (Ralph and Hazel), I felt that it can be done! Back on my previous job, i only felt the support of only a few people. So my heart was full when I knew that the entire workforce is very supportive. From the CEO, upper management Team, Training team, HR, and operations! Everyone was working seamlessly and the kind of support, the culture that I have been hearing about from my previous colleagues that were here before me, I was able to experience myself! I am very happy that I made that step in applying in Peak Support. I did not only get a job, but a career where I feel supported and valued. There's a lot of milestones yet to be achieved and I am hopeful to contribute to it. Because I know that I have people working with me envisioning the same goal.
Cons
Team gatherings or team buildings are a bit hard to do because of the location, but i know that we have an annual summit/meetup for this
