Pros

You really learn the nuts and bolts of educational publishing. Their offices are downtown and a somewhat easy commute to get to, (and away from)

Cons

Don't expect to be included in any of the interesting parts of the job like author meetings, planning and logistics. Just processing reviews and payments all day long, an endless deluge of paperwork that amounts to the most devastating busy work ever.

Pros

Working on EdTech and helping improve educational outcome. Caring coworkers, altruistic & mission driven, etc.

Cons

Pay is reasonable for working in the education field but is slightly lower than working in other parts of tech.

Pros

Decent pay. Not much else.

Cons

No lunch break, no breaks in general, can’t go to the bathroom for hours on end, the managers’ daughter gets special treatment because her mother is in charge. Constant criticism and unfair treatment.
