Pros
Not many if any. You may get a VP title if you hang around long enough.
Cons
This Company is top heavy with upper and middle management. It's a company with very little career development, zero retention of intellectual property, has developed a manipulative culture in which people are not valued and their sole function is to sit and shut up. Management, if you can call it that, is none existent. Their mantra of 'Pearson - Always Learning' is consistently the subject of humor among current employees who often substitute it with 'Pearson - There has got to be a better way'. Upper management has exceeded it's welcome at this company but ten years plus and it is not present based on merit or ability to lead or director. Management here is solely in place based on attrition and the passage of time and sometimes employees can feel like they are part of a book club or a bingo hall gathering.
