Pros

- Good, open, honest people. - Ability to define your own role, to an extent - Company brass tries to communicate company direction openly, honestly and in an easily accessible environment - Ability to define your own hours - Pretty decent work/life balance

Cons

- While company brass tries to provide company employees with company direction in an open and honest venue, it comes across as brass trying to hide facts behind smoke screens - Due to internal layoffs, both a few years ago and currently on going, most people working within Pearson operate under a doom and gloom world view - Due to the INTL structure of the company, the ability for in person, team-member to team-member collaboration is highly lacking - Upward mobility is lackluster, at best - Pay scale, as per market standards, is lackluster - The publishing industry is not in a good place

Pros

Decent pay. Not much else.

Cons

No lunch break, no breaks in general, can’t go to the bathroom for hours on end, the managers’ daughter gets special treatment because her mother is in charge. Constant criticism and unfair treatment.
