Pros
The individual medical practices Mednax owns are often good offices on their own. The office I worked at and the other's I interacted with are full of (mostly) good people doing the best they can with the resources they have. The healthcare is also fairly good. I know several people that stayed with the practice longer than they would have if it wasn't for the healthcare.
Cons
They embody the dreaded "corporate" in every way. They're large and out of touch and make things harder, not easier. The pay is low, and they keep a tight grip on the office budget so our practice was short staffed, causing everyone to work harder on a poor salary.
