Pros
Original culture was fun and energetic with promise of rewards. Working with excellence was expected and I found it rewarding to work in that type of arena. At first a very inspirational and hands-on VP with great team training. Encouraged to set a fun work environment which made for a very close team. Pay scale was very competitive. The accounting team rocked. Their support and work was excellent. I was mentored by some amazing people in my 3 years and because of that professionally grew.
Cons
The leaders lost their vision. What was promised as a company where the employees were the most important asset became ultra corporate and fear driven. The spirit that once was Pegasus was replace my concerns of liability and greed for more. They would ask for our feedback and spend a hour on the phone with the entire company telling us why none of our ideas would work. The best people in Florida were pushed out and replaced by people with a very different vibe. Soon what used to be celebrated was corrected harshly. The reward was always the carrot and the stick. The annual meeting was always well done but included zero recognition for the actual great things the staffs accomplished. That was frustrating. Worst thing of all is they it was impossible to get approval on commissions. They put a very unprofessional and mean person in that position so it was very demoralizing for the staff to work so hard and get nothing for it. We held our breath every month for the nasty gram spelling out whatever new rule they decided to implement that would allow them to not pay after killing many trees trying to get them approved.
