Pros

Pay is competitive. Benefits are an incentive for families

Cons

The company and community lacks diversity and activities other than family or religious activities. Leadership does a poor job of promoting an enjoyable workplace. Vacation time is below average.

Hello, we're sorry to hear about your experience. The Pella community is a vibrant place to live, and while there may be more events in a larger metropolis (Des Moines is less than an hour drive), the area offers recreational opportunities, shopping, restaurants, a movie and live theatre, an aquatic center, and cultural events, just to name a few. We value the importance of providing our team with competitive benefits and a great place to work and have several initiatives in place to make the experience even better for our team.

Pros

Pella offers a strong culture with a genuine focus on people, quality and community. I appreciate the collaborative environment and the pride people take in the work we do. It’s a place where your contributions matter and you feel connected to the bigger picture.

Cons

No major downsides based on my experience.

Pros

Great UX/UI interfaces, generally easy to navigate systems if you have general computer knowledge but can navigate multiple systems and screens. Great metrics which make it easier for as coordinators to not feel so stressed out to get to the next call, but to also know we do still need to take another call. Team leads and trainers at Pella Corp are amazing.

Cons

Remembering to constantly have to clear cache and cookies it a little annoying to get everything to work apporpriatly. But it is part of technology sometimes and everything being web based. Also, during training when you go peer to peer, some of the peer's are not really the best mentors an will really push you to do take calls when you are not ready to, which may be good or bad. For me it ended badly. Not for everybody else, but sometimes people just are not ready and people need to know when to listen to someone as to now cause an anxiety or panic attaack because it can be nerve racking when you genuinely do not feel ready to take that first call.
