Pros

The culture at Peloton is very actively managed. And I mean that in a great way. Communication is free & open, with a VERY positive tone. Senior Management (and it is a very small, close group of people) are very involved, very present, and very encouraging to the consulting staff. Which leans to those young/hungry/new in their careers. Balancing that are some very senior, approachable, talented leaders who work aggressively to establish a common 'approach', build staff skills, encourage self-expression, look to make the company a great place to work, etc.

Cons

Almost all of the 'energy' of the company (in terms of CULTURE-building) is focused on the markets where they have a physical presence - most notably Boston, Chicago, and New York City (with smaller footprints in Atlanta and Los Angeles/San Francisco). For employees NOT based in those markets (and we are/were few & far between) it is difficult to feel / be engaged in all the great stuff that is going on. Purely a challenge with logistics, though - in all other ways I felt 'included' by the company.

Thanks for the great review. We definitely need to continue to evolve how we engage folks on a remote basis - exploring new ways to collaborate and meet virtually will be critical to all of us.

Pros

All of leadership is highly tenured. All have been around the organization for 10+ years, moving through different verticals and duties. Lots of room for growth and advancement. Very competitive pay and a helpful/welcoming demeanor carried by the vast majority of the company. Really does strive to hire for culture fit just as much as technical and functional acumen. Benefit costs to employee are very low! PTO is “unlimited”, plus holidays, including the week between Christmas-New Year.

Cons

Truly nitpicking for some negatives: Max 401k company match @ $2k /yr. This is low in the industry. No company Amex for travel. (This may be a positive for some consultants).
