Pros
Great benefits, good atmosphere, fantastic people to work with. I love working for Penn State, and I'd hate to leave my position here unless it was for a different position within the company. There are a lot of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Cons
The pay isn't great and even with annual raises, it's not that much. Sometimes it feels like higher level workers are valued more than lower/mid-level employees. In such a large company it can be difficult to be heard.
