Pros

- The management at ITS understand that you're a college student. Inform them long in advance of an exam conflict or next-day assignment, and they'll be happy to let you off. - Getting promoted in Lab Consulting is always an option, if you want the extra commitment. A promotion really is a promotion, too; you become closer to the managers, and begin earning an extremely respectable hourly rate (for a college student). - The organization is held together via their Drupal site. Nearly everything is done through the website, and it keeps everything moving super smoothly.

Cons

- The management and supervisors can seem to take themselves too seriously. ITS manages the computer labs on campus, but often times it feels like being part of a military organization. For some, this might be bad. I didn't mind it so much.

Pros

Decent Benefits, Nice Amounts of Time off

Cons

Staff are the lowest of the totem pole and you KNOW it. Pay not enough to live by yourself as a working adult in State College Area. Will waste your time if there's nothing to do by requiring you to sit there while faculty and admin get to "work from home" (they really don't) President Benepudi will probably give herself 2 more $1.5 million pay increases while you work there unable to afford a simple apartment by yourself.
