Pros

The university is large enough where you there are a large number of opportunities to experience different things. The health benefits are outstanding. You'll get coverage for your entire family. State College is a great place to live, especially if you have a family. It is safe and clean.

Cons

Your experience will really depend on what area of the university you work in. I know some people that have had a horrible experience because of their supervisor. The salaries could be better. There isn't really a huge incentive to offer a large salary, because there aren't any comparable universities nearby.

Pros

Amazing hours and pay. Everyone is extremely friendly. It does not get too crowded most of the time during the summer. Free access to the gym as well.

Cons

Do not have anything negative to say

Pros

Decent Benefits, Nice Amounts of Time off

Cons

Staff are the lowest of the totem pole and you KNOW it. Pay not enough to live by yourself as a working adult in State College Area. Will waste your time if there's nothing to do by requiring you to sit there while faculty and admin get to "work from home" (they really don't) President Benepudi will probably give herself 2 more $1.5 million pay increases while you work there unable to afford a simple apartment by yourself.
