Pros

Pay, Benefits, and great non-management coworkers

Cons

Terrible management who have no idea how to run a business. Can't follow procedures to save their lives and do not value the work from anyone who doesn't directly make them money. Management wont hear out both sides if there's a simple misunderstanding and take the side of whoever brings up issues first which creates a super toxic environment. They claim to care about you but talk badly about you as soon as you walk out of the room. Employees are just numbers to upper management and our needs aren't even considered. Horrible work environment with no A/C, overrun with gnats mosquitoes and other bugs, humidity is way too high to dry vehicles, and too cramped for our work. They just fixed the heat problem before I left, we had to bring our own heaters to survive in the winter and frost would develop on the doors and our products would freeze on the cars.

Pros

I do not have any pros for Penske.

Cons

Their HR department does not hold their managers accountable for the abuse they are causing onto their employees. Being told to "remember to clock out" for lunch because we always have to work through our lunches is so small compared to all the other issues that occur in Penske. HR chooses not do anything to help their employees when they report something. They realistically do not care whatsoever that extreme misconduct occurs. They also don't ever care to explain the benefits that may be necessary for work/life stress balance except for one quick second at Power Up. HR does not tell you anything to set you up for success.
