Pros

Peraton is a government contractor for IT engagements from local through federal, public-trust to top-secret, civilian and defense. Through several acquisitions and Peraton's vendor-agnostic approach to deliveries, its breadth of capability gives its employees access to a wide variety of roles. Individuals can be found in the company who want to work smart, improve their skillsets, and take on difficult challenges, which are plentiful with government clients. The company is willing to engage subcontractors to fill in capability gaps.

Cons

Government contracts can sometimes use legacy technologies and methodologies. Government clients also often require TLC through extra project governance that Peraton may not always be mature enough of an organization to provide, leading to delivery issues that affect everyone's work.

Pros

Peraton is a great company to work for. My boss built a huge Datacenter from the ground up. He is very helpful to everyone in our team.

Cons

Onboarding is slow, it takes longer than I expected.
