Pros

None the differentiate themselves from any other defense company

Cons

You’re treated as just an asset to a company. I don’t mean an asset as a contributor but as something that can be bought and sold. This is the third company I’ve worked for in three years because our division keeps getting sold. Don’t expect to hear anything from anyone as the only form of communication is automated news letters where you’ll probably miss half the important stuff anyways. Don’t expect to keep your same doctor based on the insurance plan options. I made that mistake. New hires get a baseline PTO hour accrual rate. You’ll be at that rate until you cross 10 years of service, then you get an extra 5 days. Company is owned by a venture capital business “Veritas Capital” so I can only imagine us getting sold again or something being out in place that benefits them.

Pros

Peraton is a great company to work for. My boss built a huge Datacenter from the ground up. He is very helpful to everyone in our team.

Cons

Onboarding is slow, it takes longer than I expected.
