Pros

Flexible work schedule. Security Clearance

Cons

Company uses metrics to track everything - corporate doesn't seem to understand that their employees are human not robots. The metrics system is also widely inaccurate and is a poor reflection of ability and output. I made less money after a promotion with additional job duties because the metric tracking system was inaccurate - I was writing 13 pages investigative reports that counted as an equivalent amount of work to the 2 pages investigative reports I was turning in on my easier cases when I first started the job. There is no company culture whatsoever - the job is very isolating / lonely. The quality of the investigations that get turned over to the Federal agencies for adjudication is poor - the company requires the bare minimum amount of work be done to turn over cases as quickly as possible. No investigative tools are provided - you wont have access to any databases and they won't pay for any subscriptions... not even the 2 bucks a month for whitepages. They'd rather turn in a bare bones investigative report to the feds then spend any money on lead finding services like TR Clear

Pros

Peraton is a great company to work for. My boss built a huge Datacenter from the ground up. He is very helpful to everyone in our team.

Cons

Onboarding is slow, it takes longer than I expected.
