Pros

Decent healthcare options, work from home when client permits. I give you a director's words: "Last thing we want is for all of you to be in the office so the client see's how much bandwidth we really have".

Cons

Management actively lies to line employees. Deliberately keeping teams in the dark about loss of contract or lack of funding as long as possible to try and keep the work going, dismissing entire teams with 2 week notice. This is nothing like a Tier 1 or Top Tier GovCon, much closer to subcontractor in terms of organizational behavior and management execution. W-2's were delayed for months, HR cannot answer basic questions such as 'how much will my severance be' and 'will I be vested in my 401k match'. Soon to be terminated employees still invited to staff calls for growth, celebrate company wins, and attend events. No genuine attempts made to absorb or redeploy staff. All typical corporate functions are outsourced to 3rd party providers. Regret the decision to accept the offer to come here.

Pros

Peraton is a great company to work for. My boss built a huge Datacenter from the ground up. He is very helpful to everyone in our team.

Cons

Onboarding is slow, it takes longer than I expected.
