Reports are always kicked back, writing format changes constantly for reports, it is impossible to complete required tasks in just 40 hours a week. Stressful job, lots of fieldwork, reports are kicked back no matter how experienced you are! You must meet your caseload plus correct all of your kicked back reports within 24 hours. There is no work life balance. The pay is terrible! Your barely being paid more than people are getting hired McDonald’s yet a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. You do not get paid extra for having a Master’s degree. Investigators that do advance have no integrity and work off the clock (FREE) just to finish their work.
