Pros

Pay is great! Coworkers in the help center are great!

Cons

What was once an amazing company has turned into a complete fiasco. Executive management team that recently came in within the last two years have absolutely no idea how to manage a company like this. This product isn't like some easily maintained system that can handled by a tiny team or sent overseas to maintain. This is management of patient care. When you compromise the management of the help center you compromise patients and can cause lawsuit issues for your physicians and healthcare facilities. It's not a toy to play with to see how low you can get your bottom line. I was a long time employee that grew weary of the way the executive team treated the teams under them. They try to appease with parties, and food to distract their teams from seeing the big picture. They are slowly but surely cutting back staff to get that bottom line as low as they can. And if you think it's not a popularity contest within the office then you surely have blinders on. I once respected upper management. Now most of them don't even know what they're doing. They actually don't even know how to navigate the product at all or fix an issue should they need to. I've heard so many underhanded stories about things HR and upper management has done to the employees. It's turned into such a complete mess there.

At PerfectServe, we have a team of subject matter experts, project managers, product engineers, account managers, executive leadership and more that each play a different yet vital role in building our product and supporting our clients. From sales to support, we are focused on providing an amazing product and excellent customer service to our clients. PerfectServe has a 100% retention rate of our enterprise clients which is simply unheard of and speaks to our amazing product and team. As with any company, often times difficult decision have to be made by management that may not be popular. But as stewards of the business and responsible for the budget that is created at the beginning of the year, it is important to manage to the budget for the sake of everyone. When employees are asked, "What do you love most about working at PerfectServe?" More often than not, the answer is the culture and the people. It is unfortunate that you have left with a different outlook than most. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

The mission is real — we're not just selling software, we're improving outcomes for patients and the healthcare workers who care for them. My teammates are passionate, purpose-driven people who are here to make a difference, and that energy is contagious. The company equips you with the tools you need to actually do your job well rather than setting you up to struggle. Work-life balance is genuinely respected here, not just talked about, and when you perform, the company recognizes it — both financially and through real advancement opportunities. Promotions feel earned and attainable.

Cons

Communication from management can be inconsistent at times, which occasionally creates confusion around priorities or direction. Additionally, not all hospital systems have the internal governance structures in place to fully implement and adopt the applications — this can make success feel out of your hands at times. That said, it's also an opportunity to become a trusted advisor and help clients build toward better outcomes.
