Pros
Some of the best benefits, perks, and employee treatment I've ever experienced. Holiday party, team building off-site events, health and wellness cash to spend, to name a few. HR was great, and honestly when I left, I got the sense they were not surprised (because of the cons below).
Cons
I got stuck with a poor micromanager who had little to no previous experience in the specific department. I had direct reports, but my manager didn't let me lead my team. The manager literally would sit behind me and tell me how and what to type when responding to emails. Ultimately, it was just too much to take. You know what they say, "people leave managers, they don't leave jobs." That manager has since left, by the way, and I hear things in that department are much better.
