Not the company for intelligent, hard-working individuals. Good for suck-ups, people that can talk their way to the top - Anonymous employee PerkinElmer Employee Review

Pros

Flexible schedule, interesting work, good starting salary, good tuition reimbursement benefit.

Cons

Managers appear to have poor people skills. Few opportunities for advancement unless you are buddy-buddy with management. Crappy insurance that's expensive. Talentless BS-ers will get promoted over intelligent, hard working people. No profit sharing. Poor yearly raises. Little recognition for a job well-done.

Pros

Used to be a wonderful place to work before being bought out.

Cons

There is no feeling of teamwork anymore. Management could be quite nasty and favoritism ran high. New manager seemed to like running things like it was a third world country.
